Icelandic sheep are famous for their wool around the world!
They are dual coated, with a fine soft undercoat, and a longer, coarser outer coat which is wavy and wonderful in worsted spinning.
The fleeces are open with very little grease, and a lovely array of natural colors make for endless possibilities in yarns and rovings. It is also one of the very best fleeces for felting!

We currently have white, single ply worsted weight yarn available. Nice for custom dyeing!
